We believe every child deserves a variety of ways to learn and succeed.
Our extracurricular enrichment activities are offered outside of the regular program schedule and are unique to each location. They help children develop creativity, coordination, and confidence while keeping every week full of fun.

STEM Academy
STEM Academy at Ashburn is a private, tuition-based program designed for preschool and Pre-K students ages three to five who have not yet attended kindergarten. Led by a dedicated STEM teacher in a specialized classroom, children engage in a standards-aligned curriculum developed by educators and researchers at the U.S. Department of Education. Through daily, three-hour sessions, students build early problem-solving, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills that prepare them for future learning in a rapidly changing world.
STEM Enrichments
For children not enrolled in STEM Academy, STEM Enrichments offers hands-on STEM learning as an add-on option at the Ashburn location. Preschool and Pre-K students ages three to five participate in three 30-minute lessons each week, exploring science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through a standards-aligned curriculum. Using a dedicated classroom, these sessions spark curiosity, confidence, and foundational problem-solving skills at no additional cost to families.
Community & Classroom Fun
Learning at Virginia Early Learning Academies Ashburn extends far beyond the classroom. Through themed celebrations, hands-on activities, and community engagement, we make every season special and meaningful for our students.
Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
